Modular Model Containment Berm Video Transcript

The Ultra-Containment Berm, Modular Model, also known as the Gorilla Berm is a portable containment unit to help capture leaks, drips and spills, and prevent them from polluting and contaminating the environment.

As the name implies, this Containment Berm is extremely versatile, and can be easily modified to make different shapes and sizes.

Heavy-duty, 6-foot long, polymer-coated foam support blocks are used to provide structure for the Modular Model Containment Berm's sidewalls.

6-inch high walls can be driven over repeatedly without damage.

As a first step on installation, all of the blocks are placed around the perimeter of the containment area.  Once the support blocks are in place, the liner material can be rolled out.

The rugged liner for this Ultra-Containment Berm is a textured, slip-resistant PVC material that is available in 38 or 54 mil thicknesses.  With the liner material properly placed on top of the containment area and foam support blocks, place 1-inch steel rod or rebar on top of the material and into the slots in the top of the blocks.

This will help secure the material and keep it in place during day-to-day operations.

Ultra-Containment Berms help comply with EPA Container Storage Regulation 40 CFR 264.175 and SPCC requirements.

Available in standard sizes ranging from 6x8 to 50x50.  Custom sizes are also available.
