Stop erosion and reduce runoff at construction sites and surrounding areas
Erosion is a common challenge on construction sites. Without grass, bushes, trees or other vegetation to anchor the soil, running rainwater can very quickly cut its way through open areas taking the soil with it. The Ultra-Erosion Guard was designed to prevent this. By placing the unit in ditches, gullies and other areas where water has the potential to drain through, the Ultra-Erosion Guard reduces the water’s velocity and filters out sand and sediment, keeping it in place and preventing it from getting washed away.
Applications Include:
- Construction site erosion control
- Storm channels
- Check dams
- Ditches and silt control on slopes

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Ultra-Erosion Guard installed?
If it hasn’t been done already, unbuckle the clips on the product and allow it to spring out to its extended position (NOTE: Caution should be taken when the pressure is released). Install 8” soil staples (not included) on the outside edge of each skirt at a spacing of 6” or as required. Anchor spacing depends on site-specific soil conditions.
Can I connect multiple Ultra-Erosion Guards together?
Yes, for larger coverage, simply connect the corresponding clips of adjacent Ultra-Erosion Guards together and install as normal.
What sort of maintenance is required for the Ultra-Erosion Guard?
As with any silt and sediment control device, the Ultra-Erosion Guard should be inspected on a regular schedule and after every significant precipitation event. Any accumulated silt and sediment should be removed once it has reached approximately 1/3 the height of the Ultra-Erosion Guard.
