Sustainability in Our Manufacturing

UltraTech’s manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified and as such there are specific restrictions and requirements for the protection of raw materials, equipment, in-process goods, and finished goods. Many of our products use recycled materials to include the polyethylene (LLDPE) resin in our spill containment line and geotextiles used in our construction compliance and stormwater management lines.

Sustainability for Our Customers

The use of UltraTech’s products can greatly increase the sustainability of both production as well operations. In addition, the protection of the surrounding natural environment lends to the overall sustainability of the area.

Gentoo

The hydrophobic coating has been used by parcel delivery companies and other facilities with large fleets to greatly reduce the amount of water used in washing the vehicles. A recent study showed that a Gentoo-coated vehicle was cleaner after two weeks without a wash than a similar, uncoated vehicle that was washed just two days prior.

EverShield

In a similar way that Gentoo reduces the necessary cleaning of vehicles, garments treated with EverShield, shed dirt, oil, grease, and food to reduce laundering requirements and costs.

Construction Compliance and Stormwater Management Products

These products are designed and engineered to remove pollutants (oil, grease, sediment, trash, etc) from stormwater flow before it can get into the system. Eight percent of storm drains go directly to waterways (oceans, rivers, lakes, etc.) without any treatment so the more that we can capture the cleaner and more usable our water will be.
